Jewish Wedding Band

Shir performed at our wedding in December in Central London and they were outstanding!! They played throughout our canapé reception, during dinner and an incredible Simcha set afterwards. Shir filled the dance floor and got everyone involved with their unique led dancing set. Without a doubt, they are the best simcha band in town due to their energy and musicianship and we only wish we could use them all over again! A huge thank you to you and all your wonderful musicians for weaving your special magical tapestry of joy for us and our guests over the whole simcha from the pre chuppah music right through to the ecstatic dancing in the final hour. We're still basking in the after-glow! Everyone enjoyed your music. The mix of klezmer, traditional and Israeli with the song book numbers worked very well. And Piotr's Czardas - Wow! You did us proud - even managing to keep up with my somewhat erratic rendering of 'When I'm 94'! It was a day of sheer joy for Monica and I and all our family and friends. Unforgettable. Thank you again.

Thank you SO MUCH for making our simcha so special. The music in the ceremony, in particular with Maurice’s beautiful singing, was so moving - many of our guests commented. Also the party, as I’m sure you will agree, was wild and all thanks to you. Moreover, thank you so much for saving the day when it started raining, and playing amazing music whilst people were enjoying their cocktails. This was beyond the call of duty and made a huge difference to our day so again, huge thanks for this!

Thank you so much for the planning and execution of the most wonderful music at Bevis Marks yesterday - it was joyous as ever, and loved by everyone. The combination of you and Rabbi Ellituv's voice was just fantastic. You put a totally fabulous atmosphere into the shul and made it very happy occasion for our bride and groom

Howard and I would like to thank you for making Sam's wedding to Natasha so special; the music was fantastic and we were thrilled we managed to get in so much dancing before we entered the hall. The music created a wonderful atmosphere and everyone joined in. The music at the chupah was superb and we both found the ceremony unbelievably emotional. You were a pleasure to meet and you were very reassuring at all times that we would be thrilled with your music which was absolutely correct.

What a spectacular band you all were!! We absolutely loved the music you played for both the chuppah and the reception. You learnt the Persian song for me walking so well! It was truly beautiful. We will definitely recommend you to others too! It was such a pleasure meeting you, you are very passionate about what you do.

One of the very best decisions we made over a weekend of so much love and celebration was to have Shir with us. You guys were exceptional and there is no other word I can use to describe your input. From the way you felt and led the guests to the point so many were dancing at the Shabbat dinner when we were not sure if any would, to the way your beautiful sounds filled the air by the chuppah and then following that with the dancing was simply awesome. Thank you thank you for helping make all our dreams come true over a weekend we will never forget. Simply the best.

Thank you so much for everything you did at our wedding, we both wanted to come over and thank you personally but unfortunately didn't get the chance on the day. We were completely blown away by Shir. The chuppah music was sensational and it felt incredibly special for us to have (singer) JJ (Hodari) sing with such brilliant accompaniment and musicians. JJ has told us what an excellent experience it was for him, he really could not speak highly enough of you guys, and so many of our guests have specifically commented to us how much they loved the chuppah and Israeli dancing. Once again, thank you and we really do hope we get to see you and the band again.
